As a member of the prestigious Sandals Chairman’s Royal Club, I had the honor and privilege of being one of the first 18 travel agents in the world to visit one of the newest Sandals Resorts – the elegant new Sandals LaSource in Grenada from March 1-4, 2014.
During our Chairman’s Royal Club Retreat with the Honorable Butch Stewart, founder of Sandals, and his son and current Sandals CEO, Adam Stewart, a small part of our group was surprised with a trip in Butch and Adam’s personal private jets to the lovely island of Grenada!
We toured the property with my friend and LaSource General Manager, Peter Fraser (right).

The grounds are absolutely beautiful and the resort is one of the best – Sandals has really outdone themselves! The South Seas Waterfall River Pool and the suites that surround it are breathtaking (left), with the perfect tropical and romantic setting all around.
Some suites offer soaking tubs on their balcony with a wonderful view overlooking the resort and Caribbean Sea – these large rooms are immaculate. Treat yourself and your true love to a romantic getaway to experience these spacious Luxury Included suites – you won’t be disappointed!
There are 9 restaurants – including the first Sandals steakhouse, Butch’s Chophouse – and 5 pools (2 are river pools). And whether you take yours straight up or on the rocks, from the swim-up bar to the piano bar, unlimited premium liquors are all included in your vacation package pricing.

I got to enjoy a visit to the resort again in late April 2014 for the official Grand Opening, complete with media coverage, incredible food, and on-going party, complete with an awesome performance by William Close and his Earth Harp – an enormous harp was stretched over the large main pool that he played effortlessly! (see below)
